The last time I saw almost all devices owned by Apple Inc affected in mass was during the era of Meltdown and Spectre CPU Flaws. But seems the several Apple products suffered more bugs after the recently mitigated Meltdown and Spectre CPU Flaws. However, Apple on their own end is keeping to the promises they made, like the battery health monitor in the recent iOS 11.3 and so on.

People were deliberately sharing the text bomb with others and as a result of this bug, several apps like web browser apps and communication apps were affected. Wih the update ready now and available, users of Apple products are advised to grab the updates as soon as possible.

Apple also released a list of devices and their latest versions on their support page that the update is meant for, and it includes;

✔   iOS 11.2.6

✔   macOS 10.13.3

✔   tvOS 11.2.5

The text bomb bug isn't the only thing fixed in this update, Apple another bug that caused the failure of third-party apps while connecting to external accessories.
