Razer’s Phone For Mobile Gamers Launches @ $699

If you are a gamer, then you must've heard of Nextbit or not, but in any case, Nextbit is a gaming company that produced a mid-range gamers smartphone in 2015 before it was acquired by Razer earlier this year. And now Razer just launched its own gamers smartphone after much hypes and anticipation. The Razer smartphone is a high-performance smartphone that will suit the needs of every gamer. It will sell at $700 starting from November 17. The Razer Phone has most of the features you’d expect from any 2017 high-end phone such as;

✔   Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor

✔   Measure 158 x 78 x 8mm and weighs 197g

✔   8GB of RAM with 64GB UFS storage plus a microSD card slot

✔   Dual 12MP rear cameras with a single LED Flash. One of the camera lenses has a telephoto lens, while the other has a wide angle lens, allowing you to capture a variety of different types of shots.

✔   8MP front selfie shooter

✔   120 Hz “Ultramotion” display screen

✔   2560 x 1440 pixel screen is a 5.72 inch IGZO display with a 120 Hz screen refresh rate and wide color gamut

✔   Comes with Razer’s new G-Sync like technology which synchronizes the phone’s GPU and display for optimal performance and battery life.

✔   Stereo speakers that have its own dedicated amplifier and the phone supports Dolby Atmos audio certified by THX.

✔   A 24-bit DAC + USB headphones. No headphone jack.

✔   4,000 mAh battery that the company says offers up to 7 hours of battery life while playing Hearthstone, up to 12.5 hours while watching movies, and more than 63 hours of run time while listening to music.

✔   The phone also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology which lets you go from 0 to 85 percent charge in one hour and does not support wireless charging.

✔   The bezels are a bit large by 2017 standards, but according to Razer, it was made like that so as to give a firm grip while playing mobile games, I guess.

✔   Boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Nova launcher Prime Razer edition. It will also receive Android Oreo update in early 2018. 

✔   The fingerprint sensor that is located at the power button

✔   Other features include 802.11ac WIFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC.

The Razer phone will sell at $700 starting from November 17th. And you can pre-order the phone at the Razer websiteRazer is also showing some of the first accessories including a basic case, a rugged case, and Bluetooth earbuds.
