It can be used to fetch the latest cryptocurrency trends, changes in the prices and lots more. You can use it to see which of the currency that dropped or gained value of the week. First you have to install Coinmon, and to install Coinmon, you have to make sure that you have at least Node version 6.0.0 (though a higher version would be better). To install Node on your Ubuntu, Debian, or Mint systems, run the following command;


1.   sudo apt-get install nodejs

2.   sudo apt-get install npm
Please note that you can also use yum, dnf, or pacman package manager in place of sudo in the case of other Linux Distro(s) besides Ubuntu.

Now that you finish installing Node, run this command sudo npm install -g coinmon to install Coinmon cryptocurrency price checking utility, the time it'll take depands on a network speed, but generally it takes a short time.

Then after installing the Coinmon tool, pull up your command terminal and just run this command coinmon to get the price Bitcoin as well as the price of all other cryptocurrencies.

The Coinmon tool also customizations which you are free to use as you please, so as to get your desired results. For instance, you can use -c or –convert with fiat currency symbol to find in term of other currency.
