Google is Already Talking About Pixel 2, Here Are its Features

The mountain view California tech giants are already on the move for bringing in another smartphone, which will be an upgraded version of their previous smartphones, Pixel and Pixel XL. Dubbed Pixel 2, Google has just revealed the highlights of the device and here is a quick review of the specs.

Flexible OLED Displays:
Google is currently working with a South-Korean multinational conglomerate, LG, to give Android users what they haven't seen before, and that is a flexible display. Google and LG teamed up in other to make the flexible display a success with the Pixel 2.

The first Pixel devices, Google Pixel and Pixel XL chipped RAM, same goes to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, rumors claim that Pixel 2 might be available in two variants which will spot different RAM sizes of 6 and 8GB respectively.

Snapdragon 835:
The Snapdragon 835 chipset are really making trends in the Android market now. Several phones OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Mi 6, etc are expected to ship the same Snapdragon 835 processor. The same Snapdragon 835 is what powers Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, and Google, however, wants the same processor for their Pixel 2 which can handle several tasks at ease.

Redesigned and More Premium Looks:
Google Pixel 2 will have a redesigned premium look with thinner bezels on the front which looks similar to recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Android 8:
I am not sure if Google has already picked a code name for their next Android version. But rumours suggest that the next Android version will be named Oreo and Google have already released its developer's preview.

If you know Google to some extent, you will know that they can't produce a high-end smartphone with state of the art specs, and then give it a lower version of their very own OS. In my own opinion, I'd say that Google Pixel 2, which is Google's phone will be the first to boot their new version of OS.

So that is all we know so far about Google Pixel 2 and the expected features. You will agree with me that the first Pixel phones which are Google Pixel and Pixel XL were a great success for Google, unlike Google Allo which did well at first then slumped after several weeks of launch.
