The makers of the world's famous loved and widely used open source operating system, Ubuntu, has released the final beta of the next release of Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus. This is only a short term release, users are expected to upgrade to a better version come January 2018. The stable version of Ubuntu Zesty Zapus is scheduled for an upgrade on the April 2017.

This final beta gives a good insight on what features a user should expect in the final release come next month.

New features seen in Ubuntu 17.04 are:
Bugs fixes and patches
Uses a swap file instead of a swap partition
gconf no longer installed by default
Linux kernel 4.10
Improved hardware compatibility
Updated default apps like LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc
Now 32-bit PowerPC support
Mesa 17 and Server 1.19
And finally the part I love most is the Driverless printing

To get this beta release, go to this link, choose and download as you please, depending on your PC architecture.

More importantly, I wouldn't advise you to use this beta version as your primary operating system. It only remains a few days before the main Zesty Zapus Arrives.
