It is no longer news that the invention and launching of Google Allo have steered up serious concerns amongst several technologies and instant messaging companies, and with Allo, it just confirmed my thoughts about Google, they sure don't wanna be number 2 in the list. Allo is already having millions of downloads every day and still counting, and it is safe to say that Zuckerberg, on the other side understands the need for the top spot, thereby giving his fans something to cheer up with, especially for users who are in locations with a slow data connection.
FB Messenger Lite
Besides the use of speech, texting is the number one mode of communication for most individuals, and it is really sad that most people feel comfortable with online texting than having a one-on-one convo with another fellow, and the invention of Chatsim is really there to give such individuals unlimited internet access to their favourite IM platforms and since Whatsapp divorced a whole lot of phone and plans to send them packing on December 31st, Facebook won't

The Facebook Messenger Lite, just as the Facebook Lite is designed for Android phones with lower specs and regarding memory and processor clock-speed and power. The messenger lite will kick in some African countries like Tunisia, Kenya and all the way to Sri Lanka then Venezuela, however, the time which it'll take to get to other regions is unspecified as at the time of this post.

The facebook messenger Lite is designed for emerging markets, and is designed to work freely with most older versions Android device, consumes less data, send and receive pictures and voice messages. It is, however, not clear yet as to what and what features the messenger lite will possess, but I certainly won't be surprised if features like ChatBots makes its way to the app. It is also not clear yet if the Lite version of Facebook Messenger will support iOS, but only time will tell. In the meantime, we keep our fingers crossed and watch the events of the coming days as they unfold.
