Good News To BlackBerry Users: How to update BlackBerry Priv to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

For the BlackBerry users who are still loyal to the company, especially the Blackberry Priv users, Hello to you guys  because there is some good news. They can finally update your precious BlackBerry Priv to Android 6.0 Marhsmallow. The company has already started delivering the update via OTA. The updates are also available for download on BlackBerry official website. 

Since Priv is an elite smartphone, the manufacturers just released a Marshmallow (Android 6.0). This new update allows Blackberry Priv to enjoy Android 6.0 full Operating System on there smartphones. This new update also adds some exciting features to the BlackBerry Hub, Launcher and Camera as well as an improved battery performance which makes its juice to last a few more hour(s) so now you can trust on your handset to last longer without requiring a charge.

How to update BlackBerry Priv to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
If you an android device user, updating your Priv won’t be problem. However, if you are new and unfamiliar with software updates on android, just follow these simple steps to update your elite phone to the latest version.
  • Go to your phone Settings.
  • Click the last option ‘About Phone’.
  • Look for System Updates and Click it.
  • Click on check for updates. At this point, it is strongly advised to have stable and fast internet connection. You can use WiFi or mobile data plan but try to update over WiFi to avoid huge data charges from your ISP.
  • Once the update search has completed, it will let you an update if is available. Click Download button if yes at the bottom right to download the latest Marshmallow update to your phone and then wait for the download to be completed without any interruption whatsoever.
  • After the download has been completed successfully, click Update and wait for your phone to go through the update procedure.
  • Exercise some patience because the updating process will take a few minutes and your phone might restart during or after the update process. (You may be unable to use your phone during the time of update not even for emergency calls to 911)
