Cool Internet Tricks and Shortcuts You Didn't Know

The Internet and the web as a whole have come to become a significant and crucial part of our lives in the 21st century. It now had to go 24hrs a day without having an internet access, whether it is for a limited time, or unlimited. But most times, we tend to make use of the web by default, without knowing that it holds lots of knowledge and secrets which can be very beneficial if applied correctly. In my own research, I've come to understand that the reason behind this is that we've not been well informed on how to use the internet at its max. So here, I am going to reveal to you, several internet tricks that might not know. And they are as follows:
Cool Internet Tricks and Shortcuts You Didn't Know

1.    You can Reopen Closed Tabs:

So you are surfing the net and you accidentally close a particular tab that you're not yet done with. Don't panic to get worked up, thanks to internet history and cached files, you can quickly reopen closed tab just by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+T on your keyboard

2    Automatically Add .Com and WWW

You do not have to stress yourself while using the Internet, gone4 are the days you have to do everything by yourself, including the full address of a website. All that is required of you is to know and type the domain name of that website you want to visit, then press CTRL+ENTER, the .com at the end and www at the beginning of the site will be added

3.    Open Link In A New Tab

Let's say you are browsing the net for an article or a project, and then you stumble upon a link that when clicked, will take you away from the current article you are reading, which I am, sure you wouldn't want to do. Just hold your ‘CTRL’ button on the keyboard and then click on the link. It will open the link on the new tab while you continue reading your current article.

However, due to differences in browsers and their configurations, you may be automatically switched to the new tab that was just opened.

4.    Open An Incognito Browser

Before telling how to use this feature, you need to know what it is and what function it performs. Incognito means to hide or to make something (location)a secret. So opening a web browser in incognito mode means to open it (web browser) in such a way that your details and identity will stay hidden while using the browser. Your browsing history and cookies won't be recorded or saved while using incognito mode.

CTRL+N opens a web browser new window, but CTRL+SHIFT+N opens a new Incognito window. Another important thing to note is that Incognito doesn't guarantee 100% anonymity while using the web.

5.     Clear Cache

W#hen you visit any website for the first time, your browser automatically downloads and keeps some files from the internet site without your consent. The advantage of this feature is to make the website to load faster during visits. However, some browsers might become slow and unresponsive when these cached files are many so you may have to clear them all, so as to make your browser to be fast again. To clear cache, just press CTRL+SHIFT+R.
