Whatsapp Now Supports Video Calls

whatsapp video call

Video calling feature feature is now becoming a thing of the day with these social and IM apps and Whatsapp understands the need to be in trends with technology. Their  status was questioned when the search engine giant, Google, launched Goole Duo and Google Allo several months ago, and Google Duo hit millions of download in just 1 month of launch. Now that's challenge Whatsapp, the number 1 Chat-app for most folks didn't take likely, and in other for them to stay in competition, Whatsapp launched their own video calling feature

The $19 billion app, used by over a billion folks around the world, may finally be ready to support video calls after a long wait, rumors and speculations. Though the video call feature works for some selected Android users, even without an update. However, anyone can try it by installing the Latest Whatsapp beta (2.16.318). With this development, I can safely say that it's just a matter of time before the video call feature becomes default for every whatsapp user. You can as well recall that this video call feature was earlier made available on whatsapp  beta version some months ago, but whatsapp later removed it, and I really hope that this feature will stay this time.
