How To Root Infinix Hot S

Infinix Hot S was made available some time in July 2016 and the device has been making/ still making trends in the android market. It came with so many feature which you will confirm with me if  you own had a first hand experience with the device. All credits to Hovatek Team for providing us with the ingredients on what to follow and obtain root access on Infinix Hot S.


THINGS YOU WILL NEED

===>>    VCOM drivers FRO your PC, you can get it from HERE

SuperSU 2.76 in .zip format, you can also get it from HERE

===>>    Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) recovery for Infinix Hot S ported by Team Hovatek, You can as well get it from HERE

===>>    Knowledge on how to Flash the TWRP recovery.img to the phone using SP Flash tool, you can indicate if you don't know how to do so and you will be assisted

Now you're all set, proceed to the next steps

===>>    Copy the SuperSU.zip you downloaded earlier to both your phone’s SD card and internal storage


===>>    Boot your Infinix Hot S into recovery mode


===>>    In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System Partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY and select NO If TWRP offers to root your phone. Then select Install


===>>    Now, navigate to the location where you placed the SuperSU 2.76.zip and click on it


===>>    Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip then wait for the flashing is complete and reboot your phone normally and you are through.


===>>    TO confirm the root access go Playstore and download Root Checker
